The blade of the knife is 440 Stainless Steel with a serrated spine and blood line. The guard of the knife is thick solid steel. The handle of the knife is steel with a ribbed design. At the end of the handle is a steel cap that secures a small air tight survival kit. The survival kit includes: a fishing hook, fishing line, fishing weights, needle, matches, bandages, and striker. The steel cap also includes a water tight gasket, and a compass. The knife includes a tough nylon sheath with a snap safety and belt loop. A whet stone has been included on a snap flap of the sheath.
